Typhoon Juan hitting the Philippines this Monday

Recently, i was browsing the net and came across this news about a typhoon hitting the Philippines, particularly Cagayan province, this Monday. Forecasts indicates that the wind speed is about 140-kph.

People in cagayan are now preparing for the upcoming typhoon. Hopefully none of them would get hurt.

LAKERS WINNING THE 2010 NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS

An astounding win for the LAKERS letting have there 5th title as NBA back to back CHAMPS!

It was an awesome game. The lead was one Celtics on the 1st half but eventually Lakers caught up.

It was truly a breath taking game, with the Celtics also trying there best. But was not enough to win against the Lakers

Good job Lakers. Boston nice try! Woohoo!

3rd year as a BS - Information Technology student

I'm already on my 3rd year as a BS - Information Technology student. So we have this subject called SAD(meaning "System Analysis & Design) that requires us to find a company that will be using our so called "System". It's been a few days since our class started and this past few days we're still okay, there are still no subjects that had me going crazy (though I hope I really wouldn't go crazy).

I'm really expecting this year to be really fun and at the same time very hard. Hopefully I'd get my assignments, projects, and requirements done on time. Though i think i wouldn't really do that on time. To think that I would really get these jobs done on time.

Mariah Carey rumors dissing Regine Velasquez

There was a rumor that Mariah Carey has dissed the filipinoes. Well think otherwise, cause those reports were a product of over exaggerated issues.

Dear Fellow Filipinos,

It is truly unfortunate that MARIAH CAREY is Racist against us. In one of her concerts she asked her audience if there were any Filipinos among them.

A jubilant section of the crowd cheered because these Filipinos thought they were being acknowledged, the ice cold Mariah said in a wicked voice and shout "GET OUT". This made the Filipinos loose face.

Another incident happened on an MTV Asia interview in which Mariah was interviewed by Donita Rose. Mariah was asked for a commentary about Asia's Songbird and the Pride of the Pride of the Filipino people, Regine Velasquez. And she hissed at Donita by saying our beloved Regine, is "a brown monkey who can sing." I personally found her comments very insulting since I am a Filipina myself. Summer Breeze - Jason Mraz

Summer Breeze was originally done by seals and crofts and was recently revived by Jason Mraz.

I have been listening to this song over and over again. Jason Mraz is really incredible and is one of my idols.

I almost always play his songs because of the fact that they all are good. Jason Mraz is truly one of the best singers/composers out there.

 

LAL vs. PHX 2-1 with LAL in the lead

Suns wins game 3, 118-109. They were able to break the winning streak of the Lakers making the series 2-1 with Lakers in the lead.

Will the suns be able to continue this momentum? Or will the Lakers extend their lead on the Suns?

LAL has been dominating PHX in the playoffs. With kobe and gasol leading them, the team is unstoppable.

Sad news for Heroes of Newerth players

HoN (Heroes of Newerth) has just ended their open beta. Sad to say HoN now is pay to play. You need to buy an account to play HoN which costs $30 usd. 

So for those who can't afford to buy an account. I'm sorry guys you can't play HoN. Let's just hope that they'd make HoN free to play someday.

Election day

It's monday and classes have been suspended for Election day today. We have an automated poll for the 1st time and might I say it's turning out to be very unruly. I'm guessing this might be the worst election day ever for me.

Heroes of Newerth

Heroes of Newerth is a game almost identical to the popular game DOTA (Defense of the Ancient). This game started out on closed beta only distributing beta keys to play their game. I was able to get a hand of one of the keys and might i say the game is DOTA only on much better graphics and easy to use hotkeys. Also the game has this feature if you we're disconnected you're still able to reconnect which makes this game very likable.

Heroes of Newerth ended its closed beta and is currently on open beta. So guys if you want to play the game you can now register without any beta keys.

Pilipinas Got Talent - Jovit Baldivino sing carrie

Jovit Baldivino a 16 year old boy from batangas sings Carrie originally done by Europe in front of thousands of crowds in PGT. Small but has a very powerful voice, Jovit's song touched the heart's of the people including me.

Iron man 2 trailer review

One of the most awaited film of 2010 is IRON MAN 2! Oh man! I can't wait for this to show in theaters this FRIDAY. I'll be saving up money to watch this! woohoo! Getting excited because the movie trailer shows iron man with war machine! oh yeah! guys this is a must watch movie! I'll make a review once I've already watched the movie.

Bayantel MyDSL

My ISP currently is Bayantel and I'm really pissed of with them. Every afternoon I have to go through with slow internet connection with bayantel. There ads said that they can surely provide you with 1mbps of connection but the thing is i don't think they're really giving us what we pay for and it's really annoying.

I've already tried complaining but to no avail. They should be fair and give us what we pay for and not lose or trust to them.

1st week of summer class

The 1st Week of Summer Class just ended and it was very tiring. Though i learned many things, still it was tiring cause of our whole day class. My schedule starts at 8 in the morning and it ends at 7 in the evening with lunch as only the break.

1 Week down 5 more to go. woot.

Our 1st day of Digital Circuits ended really well. Had fun with our teacher.

1.) Electronics is that branch of science and technology which makes use of the controlled motion of electrons through different media and vaccum. (Taken from wikipedia)

2.) All atoms are made up of three subatomic particles, the proton, neutron and electron

The proton has a +1 charge. It is a fairly heavy particle and resides in the dense nucleus of an atom

The electron has a -1 charge. It is a light particle with a mass ~1/2000 of a proton. It resides in a cloud around the nucleus

The neutron has a 0 charge. It is a heavy particle with a mass about equal to a proton and resides in the nucleus

I Got A Message Saying "You Have Won the Lottery?!" or a message that was identical

I recently got a message from an anonymous sender saying that my number had won as a 2nd prize winner which the price money was 680,000.00 Php. I was shocked and at the same time very annoyed because it was sent to me several times. I knew it wasn't true cause' I didn't join any contest or lottery. So I thought to myself "This dude must be thinking I'm stupid. No way falling for this one!".

So what I did was I got my cellphone, replied to the sender and said "Tumigil ka kung ndi tatawagin ko ang pulis!(Stop it or I'll call the police!)". Until now the sender never called or texted me again.

Just a warning to those who try these scams. Some people might not be that stupid to fall for your lowly scams, so if i were you i wouldn't do that or you might face the consequences.

Also for those who receive these kinds of messages, Don't believe these unless you really joined something or you yourself might regret what will happen. Just a friendly advice. :)

Clash of the Titans (2010) Movie

"Clash of the Titans" is a fantasy film which was a remake of a 1981 film entitled also as "Clash of the Titans". This movie is actually based on a Greek Myth of Perseus.

This is a must see movie. I haven't actually seen the movie but i heard it's a great one. I'm planning on watching this next week on Cinemas here. It's a bit expense but what the heck. Guys watch this movie, it's worth the price.
